Staff to minimum ratios and save 15% on costs says DfE

Settings across the country are in consultation with their local authority on the rate which will be passed down to them following introduction of the Early Years National Funding Formula. The Department for Education's Review of childcare delivery costs which set the national funding rate underpinning EYNFF calculations, concluded settings can save 15% by staffing to statutory requirements.
